The Day of the Dead also known as El Dia de Muerte is celebrated in Mexico and other countries with the celebrations taking place on October 31st, November 1st and November 2nd. This is a time when death is celebrated, encompassed and honoured, a special time for all. Families get together to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died. They take trips to the cemeteries and tidy and decorate the gravesides of their loved ones with offerings of trinkets, other gifts and favourite foods.
This charm bag can be used at any time of the year or during El Dia de Muerte or Samhain as an offering for any loved one who has since passed, including our beloved familiars. The bag can be placed alongside them or as an offering of love and remembrance on your altar/sacred space. The charm bag contains three mini candles for candlelight use, a rose quartz crystal for the heart, love and healing, a heart charm and herbs including calendula, chamomile, rose, rosemary and thyme to honour those who have passed.
