Acacia (Acacia Senegal) To enhance psychic powers and visions. Add to protection sachets and blends.

Agrimony (Agrimonia eupatoria) Use for protection, to banish negative energies and spirits. Said to protect against evil. 

Allium sativum (Garlic) Said to guard against vampires, psychic energy drainers, evil and the plague. Add to exorcism and protection incense and sachets.

Angelica Root (Angelica Archangelica) Use for exorcism, healing and protection spells and magic. Add to incense mixes to remove hexes and negativity.

Anise (Pimpinella anisum)  Used in protection spells and magick. Add to incense blends to help with vision work.

Arnica Flowers (Arnica montana) To help bring balance and calm back into one´s life. Wear in healing sachets, burn Arnica to restore balance.

Asafoetida (Ferula foetida) Used for exorcism, protection and purification spells and magick.

Bayberry Bark (Myrica cerifera)  Used for happiness, luck, blessings and prosperity magick and spells.

Bearberry (Arctostaphylos uva-ursi) Use in spells and magic where courage and strength are called for. Is said to invoke "Bear" magic and introspection when added to incense and talismans.

Birch Leaf (Betula alba) Tree of the Goddess, purification, protection, exorcism, feminine energies. 

Black Cohosh Root (Cimicifuga racemosa) Carry to help give courage and strength. Use in love and protection sachets, charms and spells.

Black Walnut Hull Powder (Juglans nigra) Used in protection and banishing magick. Helps to severe ties with negative energies and difficult relationships. 

Blessed Thistle (Centaurea benedicta)  Aka Holy Thistle. Add to sachets and wear to protect yourself from negativity in general disharmony from outer influences. Add to purification baths and cleansing formulae.

Bloodroot Powder (Sanguinaria Canadensis) Aka Coon Root, Indian Paint, Paucon, Red Root, Snakebite. Sweet Slumber and Tetterwort. Bloodroot is used as a protecting herb of the family hence the ‘blood ties,’ wards off evil and helps to draw love towards one. The root has long been used by the American Indians as a dye for their bodies and clothes.

Boneset (Eupatorium perfoliatum)  aka Indian Sage, Crosswort, Feverwort. Wards off evil and negative spirits. Protection and exorcism herb.

        

Borage, Chamomile, Hollyhock and Lavender.

Borage (Borago officinalis) A herb of courage and was eaten by many warriors and soldiers before they went into battle. It is said to help lift melancholy and cheer the spirit. Used for protection, to enhance psychic powers and bring inspiration. 

Burdock Root (Arctium lappa) Add to protection and healing sachets and poppets. Sprinkle around the home to help remove negativity. 

Butchers Broom Root (Ruscus aculeatus) Folk names are Kneeholy. Knee Holly. Kneeholm. Jew's Myrtle. Sweet Broom and Pettigree.  Used in divination, protection, wind and cleansing spells. Brooms were made to sweep the floor of Butcher market stalls thus the name.

Butterbur Root (Petasites hybridus) Also known as Blatterdock, Bogshorns, Butter-Dock and Capdockin. Used in love divination and spells, sweetens the heart and helps to uplift the spirit.

Calendula Flowers (Calendula officinalis) Add to sachets and incense to encourage strength and courage. Ideal Leo and Summer Solstice herb. Also called Pot Marigold.

Caraway Seeds (Carum carvi) Add to sachets to guard against negativity. Used in lust spells and magic.

Cinnamon Cassia Bark (Cinnamomum cassia) Add to incense mixes to increase spirituality. Used in spells of money, protection and healing.

Catnip (Nepeta cataria) A favorite of all Cats. Add to happiness spells and use in rituals to honor Bast and your own feline familiars.

Cats Claw Bark (Uncaria tomentosa) is a liana deriving its name from hook-like thorns that resemble the claws of a cat. Use in all Cat magic, ideal to add to sachets and incense for protection, marking out ones territory and helps to halt ‘catty’ gossip

Cayenne Powder (Capsicum annuum) Also known as Cow Horn Pepper and Bird Pepper. Add to sachets and spells to add a little spice and heat to one’s life. Used in protection and strength blends.

Chamomile Flowers (Anthemis nobilis) Add to sachets to encourage sleep and calmness. Use in love, cleansing and money spells.

Chaste Tree Berries (Vitex agnus-castus) To help one abstain and recover from a bad situation. Wear or add to sachets. Place under the mattress to soothe oneself (or one´s ego) after a relationship breakup.

Feverfew (Chrysanthemum parthenium) Helps in matters of the head. Use in protection charms and sachets.

Flaxseeds (Linseed) Place in sachets or your wallet to help attract money your way. Flaxseeds are used in protection and healing magick and spells. Said to help ward off negativity and evil while acting as a protector of children.

Frankincense(Boswellia thurifera) Add to incense mixes. Burn during rituals and to consecrate altar items.

Ginger (Zingiber officinalis) Add to spells to draw money your way, for courage, love magick and strength.

Goats Rue (Galega officinalis) Also known as Galega, Italian Fitch or Professor Weed. A herb used to honour the Horned God, Cernunnos. Goats Rue is also added to healing sachets, blends and magick and to call upon the energies of Goat as a totem animal. 

Golden Rod (Solidago virgaurea) Aids in divination and money spells.

Hawthorn Berries (Crataegus oxycantha) A favourite of Witches. Use in fertility, happiness and protection spells and magic. A Witch´s garden should have a Hawthorn hedge within.

Heartsease (Viola tricolor) For spells of the heart. Add to healing and blessing sachets.

Hibiscus Flower Petals (Hibiscus spp.) Add to Love and lust potions, incense and sachets. 

Hollyhock (Alcea Rosea) The Hollyhock helps one connect to the past and the old ways, remembers past lives and enhances healing. It is said that the Fae use the flowers as clothing particularly as in skirts and cloaks and that the seed pods are known as Fairy cheese due to the pods being shaped like an old fashioned wheel of cheese. 

Hops (Humulus lupulus) Add to sleep pillows and sachets to help with healing and rest. A calming herb.

Horehound (Marrubium vulgare) Add to protection and healing sachets and incense. Sprinkle as an exorcism herb.

Horse Chestnut (Aesculus spp.)  To enhance Horse energies and magick such as strength, travel and protection. Add to sachets to attract wealth and ward off giddiness. Please note- Poison herb, not to be taken internally!

Horsetail (Equisetum arvense) Used in fertility spells. Add to sachets and hang within the stables to promote fertility and blessings.

Hydrangea Root (Hydrangea arborescens)  Aka Seven barks, Wild Hydrangea. Used in sachets and incense to help calm nightmares, has hex breaking and binding properties and is used in love drawing.

Hyssop (Hyssopus officinalis) Use in protection and purification spells and magic. Add to incense and sachets for cleansing on all levels.

Irish Moss Powder (Chondrus crispus)  Carry to increase luck, add to a luck poppet or place a sachet in the home for the same energies. A protective herb when traveling and can be added to money charms.

Jasmine Flowers (Jasminum officinale) A herb of love, money drawing and used to enhance dreamwork.

Juniper Berries (Juniperus communis) Add to sachets to guard against evil. Has great protective and exorcism uses, is said to break hexes and curses.

Kola Nut Powder (Kola nitida) Aka Cola Nut. Add to sachets and incense blends to stimulate energy and used as an aphrodisiac. 

Ladies Mantel (Alchemilla vulgaris) Use in love spells and sachets. Hang in the bedroom to encourage these same energies.

Lavender Flowers (Lavendula officinalis) Add to spells, charms, incense and sachets. Lavender has long been used in all manner of magic from love, blessings and happiness to protection, cleansing and healing spells. Scatter around the home to promote peace and positive magic.

Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis) Also called Bee Balm or Melissa. Used in love, healing and calming sachets and magick. Uplifts the spirit. Attracts bees and is said to keep them happy.

Linden Leaf and Flower (Tilia europaea) Known as a Celtic 'Court Tree.' Court cases were often heard under the Linden. Inspires fairness and justice. Used in immortality, love, protection spells and magick.

Liquorice Root (Glycyrrhiza glabra) Add to love spells and sachets.

Lobelia (Lobelia inflata)  Also called Asthma Weed, Bladderpod and Pukeweed. Used to attract love and supposedly to halt storms!

Lotus Root (Nymphaea lotus) Add to sachets to be used in rituals and offerings. Also used in love magic and is said to enhance spirituality.

Lungwort (Pulmonaria officinalis) A herb for the lungs. Said to help with psychic powers and healing.

Malted Barley (Hordeum vulgare L)  Barley is one of the sacred grains symbolizing birth, life and death, fertility, abundance and prosperity. 

Mandrake, American (Podophyllum peltaltum) Also known as May Apple Root. Add to all sachets, incense and herb blends for protection, love, health and purification. Used as a substitute for European Mandrake.
