A Modern Witch
Old times gone and new times here,
black cat tails, toads eyes and nails, eye of newt and skulls,
have all been changed to modern words and goodness knows what else.
No more cooking up our brews in cauldrons set aflame,
modern technologys seen to that,
stoves can take the blame.
No more flying around on brooms, It´s only planes you hear !
no one seems to question
why they fly up there ?
What about blood and sacrifice ? I shudder just to think,
all that mess and muck to clean,
would definitely clog my sink.
Evil spells and old wart hags, in tall and pointed hats,
scuttling down their crooked paths, with their evil little cats,
look out neighbours, look out you,
there´s Witches all around,
don´t go near that funny lady, she talks to the ground !
Some things change, while others don´t,
perhaps they never will,
just remember that Witchery's about,
living, and enjoying it all.
